Priory T Level Business students have been working with Lincolnshire Co-op on an exciting project.

Lincolnshire Co-op is working with an external consultancy, Simply Sustainable, to develop an Environmental Sustainability Strategy that will support the business to 2030.

This work forms the first phase of a larger sustainability project, under which the Co-op will be completing a carbon footprint which will support the setting of environmental and net zero targets in accordance with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

This work aims to reduce the organisation's impact on the environment across all its business services, while also emphasising the ambition for better environmental reporting and demonstrating the potential frameworks the business can implement in the future.

Priory T Level students engaged with a ‘Strategy House’, exploring challenges and solutions to the project alongside the Co-op team. The students were invited to the close-and-review meeting with the external consultancy firm, which praised the contributions they had made to the strategy sessions.
